Stranger Things

Anyone else obsessed with 'Stranger Things'?  I want more!  So much awesome, nostalgic creepiness here. And in the midst of it all, the innocence and resilience of children.

Transition Year

Halloween 2015 was a blur. Yet, it went really well, considering we were adjusting to parenthood and the neighborhood celebrated a day early due to terrible weather predicted for the 31st.

In the after glow, the hubs and I discussed our mutual feeling that it was time to transition the cemetery. We had played out the current atmosphere and had run out of new ideas. 

We came up with an ambitious plan to freshen things up. It'll give us the advantage of new props and structures for a few years.

Here's the first new structure that we've been working on. Brownie points to the first person to guess what the new theme is 👻🎃

The Countdown Has Begun....

October Eve 2016

 I. Can't. Wait! The air has finally cooled down here in Southern Louisiana, just in time to usher in October 1st. 
2nd Street Cemetery has many cool ideas in the boiling pot. It's just a matter of what we can get done, given that our little minion keeps us busy... but, be assured, the little fella has been taught well and all ready has a love for all things Halloween >=) It should be a very fun, haunty season👻🎃
