I don't know whether to be excited or upset. Michael's all ready has Fall stuff on display and today I saw that another display has been cleared for actual Halloween merch. I'm excited to see it, but I know that the earlier it's in the stores, the less likely it will still be there in October. I like anticipating the Halloween merch's arrival in stores, knowing that my holiday is just around the corner. This kinda ruins it, especially since by the time October gets here, Michael's will all ready be pushing Christmas.
Still, I'll be there frequently to scoop up anything cool since I know it won't be there for long :)
It does seem to get earlier every year. Last year it was the middle of August... now it's July. I know what you mean about it being rushed. Last year I went to Michaels 2 weeks before Halloween and everything was gone...not just sold out, but actually pulled from the store...but there was a lot of Christmas stuff!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean! I feel conflicted about the Autumn stuff being out already. If we Halloween people are feeling conflicted, imagine how everyone else feels about this!
ReplyDeleteWell, usually they just have the craft type stuff out. Not props and decorative stuff. People whom craft to sell need this stuff early. Here in Atlanta, I usually see stuff right when back to school is over.
