I received my Haunter's Video DVD's last week and got to watch 2 1/2 of the 5 discs this weekend. All that I can say is that there are so many talented and innovative haunters out there!
From projections, to prop animation, and atmosphere tricks, there is not a lack of creativity in the haunting world :)
I'm happy to see that the passion of Halloween yard haunting is very much alive and well all over the world.
This collection of videos is a great creativity sparker. I was so inspired by them that I finally started back up on my Raven Reaper prop this weekend :)
Oh and rumor has it, the results are in and the winners have been choosen for the Home Haunter's Awards :) No word on when they'll be announced yet, but it's supposed to be soon :)
I can't wait to see who the winning haunts are :)
In the mean time, a big bravo to all who submitted videos! And to those of you who haven't, you should take a stab at it this year :) It's a great way to show off your hard work :)
Happy Haunting!

Lawn Ghosts
For those of you who have not been introduced to the wonderfully addictive world of Pinterest, let me have the honor ;) It is a complete on-line, creative EXPLOSION! I avoided it as long as I could, before finally being sucked in, because I knew that I'd spend ridiculous amounts of time looking through all of the creative things that people are doing out there. But, in the end, I'm super happy that I took the plunge..
It really is the ultimate in DIY resources. Oh and did I mention the Halloween projects? Oh yes my fiends, Pinterest has Halloween projects.
This is a VERY cool one that I found today. I'm super excited about this and think that I could use the general idea in my haunt this year. Imagine somthing like this with blacklight paint on it. Maybe some cheese cloth? :) Oh the possibilities!
