Halloween Countdown 2012

Can you BELIEVE that Monday is October 1st?!?!?  I surely can't, but I'm really excited about it!  I feel like I've been celebrating Halloween since the beginning of September, but I know that the real fun is just about to begin :)

Projects...

Project building is now in full swing.  When I'm not at work or jogging to work off the pumpkin EVERYTHING that I'm eating, I'm creating.  Here are some of the things that I did while I was home for Isaac:

New winged skull for new cemetery sign.



Christina Rossetti stone carved and ready for paint.

Gaston Leroux stone details almost ready for assembly.  I carved the epitaph last night and now I need to carve the art on the top of it, add a few details to the trim and it will also be ready for paint.

I'm feeling pretty good about my progress.  I still have a lot that I want to get done.  Some things, I can work on through October, b/c they won't go out till Halloween night.  It's all about time management my fiends ;)

Haunted Mansion Merch

By now I'm sure that you guys know what a "foolish mortal" I am for Disney's Haunted Mansion.  Well, today I checked out Disney's Store website and found these beauties...

Let's just say, that in 7 - 10 days, they'll be sitting on my dresser with all of my other HM figurines :)

Hurricane Prep Looks A Lot Like...

Zombie preparation.

Boarded up windows... so the brain hungry buggers can't get in or, in this case, to protect from hurricane projectiles...you know, trees, branches, lawn furniture, etc.

Stock piles of food, a generator, weapons and alcohol...??? Well, maybe only in New Orleans ;P lol

These are my parent's preparations.  They're a lot better at it than we are :)  Thankfully, they live right down the street.  So, if any zombies, I mean, the hurricane comes our way, we'll scamper on over to their place :)

Hope you all have grins on your faces today... It is Friday afterall :)  Maybe this could be a new Friday thing... Halloween grins ;)  I like it.
