  2. I had to laugh! I have the same thing going on with my patch. Thought all the pumpkins grew the same...green to dark green then orange. I have some yellow ones about the size of a softball and some green ones that look like watermelons. I was worried about the yellow ones..someone told me I got a squash. hopefully they will all turn in the end. Let me know if you have some insight into the color thing.

    have worked my fingers and hands bloody again ... This ongoing Heatwave is a "Problem" Another 60 gallons (at 2 Gallons at a Time) one of my new pumpkins died (before I could get Bedding (ie "Straw") beneath it .. one looks like a small watermelon.. the other like a large yellow "Softball" ... and one yellow "golfball" hope to have more soon Take care Dr. Theda

  4. Hell-o ,Dr. Theda Here,.... why are my pumpkins growing "Upwards"??? They have taken over one of the lower branches of my tree... I now have a "Pumpkin-Bush" forming .,.. this is "interesting" was watching "Trick-R-Treat" you tube videos .,...need a "Sam" for my collection (the Sideshow figure is too $$$$...)Batman's "Scarecrow cost me nearly $300.oo My E-mail is DrT0735@Gmail.com Let me know what to do about my Plants...   5. hello again "Pumpkin People"...
    Dr. Theda here, My pumpkin patch is flourishing 13 growing and more "hopefuls" appearing every few days... 3 are getting larger (1 orange & 2 Green) watering takes a toll upon me with my "health" issues and the terrible heat (102 actual temp. two days ago).... making do as best I can Using BoneMeal (17.oo per bag) need to add some nitrate in some areas for more leaf growth.. used the last of some DDT that I had & was besieged by mating squash bugs... fought against them for the last week...
